Bagpiper - Robert Jacob
Salt Lake City, Utah
I am a third generation scott with a proud pioneer heritage. My great grandfather immigrated to this country in 1847, traveling west pulling his belongings in a handcart. He had a great love of music and that passion has been passed down to me. I enjoy sharing my celtic heritage through the bagpipe and through the study and teaching of its colorful history. I try to bring this historical perspective to every event I participate in. I would love to play for your special occasion and share with you the spirit that is Scotland.
What Customers Are Saying
"...I wanted to thank you very much for all your efforts to make it to my dad's graveside service a couple of weeks ago. The timing could not have
worked out better. Having your pipes playing while we all said goodbye to a wonderful father and grandfather was so perfect and so fitting and made that moment such a special and cherished one
for all of us. Your song choices were perfect. The third song you played was one of my dad's favorites. ...As a daughter saying goodbye to her dad, I am so grateful that you made every effort to
be there. Thank you for helping to make that a special day. God bless you."

"Thank you so much for generously spending over 45 minutes with my Kindergarten class on St. Patrick's Day 2010. The Children were fascinated by your
costume and bagpipes. I especially enjoyed dancing around you outside as you played."
"Our Dear Scottish Piper,
Robert (the Bruce) Jacob,
We are indeed most grateful to you for accepting our request. Your playing of the pipes ia a sheer delight to the listening ear, especially on this our wedding day."
